TablePace help
Practical guides for setting up TablePace, taking bookings and running service day to day.
TablePace is designed to connect the things that usually live in separate places: your booking rules, floorplan, guest bookings, service flow and venue operations.
These guides are written for the people using TablePace in a venue. You do not need to understand how the platform is built to use it well.
New to TablePace?
Start in this order:
The Setup page inside TablePace tracks the same journey and shows the next task you need to complete.
Find a task
- Bookings: create or edit a booking, understand booking status, or manage cancellations and no-shows.
- Availability: configure services and capacity, pacing and one-off closures.
- Floorplan: build your room, publish it, and understand automatic table assignment.
- During service: use Service Mode, seat guests, move tables and manage the waitlist.
- Online bookings: publish your booking widget and add it to your website.
- Operations: manage suppliers, ingredients, recipe costing, menus and prep lists.
- Square: connect your venue to bring read-only sales context into TablePace.
- Team: invite staff and choose the right access level.
- Venue settings: manage timezone, currency, guest SMS, operator alerts and billing.
How these guides are written
Each page answers three questions:
- What is this for? — why the feature exists in a venue workflow.
- How do I use it? — the steps to complete the task.
- What should I expect? — how TablePace behaves after you save, publish or change something.
If a setting affects online availability or live service, the guide calls that out clearly.
