Back up or copy capacity settings
Export service-capacity settings for safekeeping or import a previously exported configuration.
Capacity import/export is useful when you want a portable copy of the service rules configured for a venue.
Export
Open Capacity and choose the export action. Save the file somewhere controlled by the venue.
The export represents capacity configuration, not a general backup of bookings, guests or the entire TablePace account.
Import
Use the import action and select a TablePace capacity export file. Review the result before assuming the venue is ready to take bookings.
After an import, verify:
- recurring service days and times;
- table time and pacing limits;
- one-off overrides and blackouts;
- maximum party and service covers;
- progressive pacing settings;
- public availability using the test workspace.
Use with care
Import changes operating rules. Do not import an old file into a live venue simply because the filename looks familiar. Confirm that it contains the rules you intend to use.
