Read service load
See how many guests are actively dining through each part of service instead of looking only at arrival counts.
The Service Load view helps you see how busy the room is expected to feel across the night.
It differs from pacing:
- Pacing looks at guests arriving in each interval.
- Service load looks at guests whose booking duration means they are still dining in that interval.
A quiet arrival window can still sit inside a very busy room if many earlier tables are still occupied.
How to use it
Use service load when reviewing:
- whether table times are realistic;
- whether too many turns overlap;
- where the busiest part of service falls;
- whether staffing should change by time of night.
Treat it as an operational planning view, not a promise that every guest will sit and leave at the exact configured minute.
