Square sales context

Understand the sales information TablePace can show after Square is connected.

After Square is connected, TablePace can bring sales context into the operator experience so bookings and venue performance can be reviewed together.

Depending on the available Square data, the integration can surface information such as:

  • gross, refund and net sales for recent periods;
  • transaction counts and average transaction value;
  • recent payments;
  • top-selling items;
  • basic catalog context;
  • service-intelligence spend-per-cover benchmarks.

Overview

Users with the appropriate integration access can see Square context on Overview. This is for operational awareness; Square remains the source of truth for POS transactions.

Spend-per-cover benchmarks

The Integrations page lets the venue record an average spend per cover and high spend per cover reference. These are venue benchmarks used by TablePace service intelligence where historical context is not yet sufficient.

Set values that make sense for your venue rather than copying another restaurant's benchmark.

Guest matching

The Square integration also includes a controlled guest-match tool using contact details. A match is only useful when TablePace can identify a single exact Square customer. Treat it as supporting context, not permission to merge uncertain customer records.
