Test changes safely
Prove configuration changes without confusing real guests or leaving test bookings mixed into service.
Use TablePace's Support & testing tools and clearly identifiable test bookings when checking a change.
Before publishing a major change
For Capacity or Floorplan changes:
- test representative party sizes in the Capacity test workspace;
- review the draft floorplan;
- publish only when the live version is ready;
- complete a booking through the published widget if the change affects guests.
Use recognisable test details
Use a guest name and contact details your team will immediately recognise as a test. Do not use another real guest's identity simply because their details are convenient.
Clean up after testing
Cancel or otherwise resolve test reservations so they do not remain mixed into the real service schedule.
Test the same path guests use
An editor preview proves presentation. A completed booking through the published hosted/widget path proves the full journey from availability to the operator workspace.
