Open Floorplan to build or edit the venue's seating layout.

Add a table

1. Add a table to the draft layout.
2. Give it the same code your team uses during service.
3. Choose the shape that best represents it.
4. Set maximum covers to the genuine seated maximum.
5. Position and size it so the floor is easy for staff to recognise.

The seat markers around the table show the configured maximum covers. They are a visual reminder of capacity, not separate bookable seats.

Move and resize tables

Drag tables into place and use the geometry controls when you need precise sizing. TablePace keeps the numeric geometry and visual layout in sync.

The editor snaps movement to its grid so rows and spacing can stay tidy without requiring pixel-perfect dragging.

Create table combinations

Only create a combination when the venue actually joins those tables in service.

For example, if T8 and T9 can reliably become a 6-top, configure that combination and its capacity. Do not create every mathematically possible nearby pairing.

When a member table changes, review any combinations that use it so their capacity and meaning still make sense.

Editing an active venue

Draft work does not replace the published floor until you choose Publish. Use that separation to make structural changes safely, then review the draft before publishing.

After a significant revision, check a few real party sizes in Bookings or the booking widget to make sure assignment still behaves as expected.
