Move a booking to another table
Change a seated or allocated booking's table without losing the booking details.
Use Move table when the guest needs a different table or the floor team changes the seating plan during service.
Move the booking
- Select the booking in Service Mode.
- Choose Move table.
- Select an available destination on the floor.
- Review the highlighted target.
- Choose Confirm move.
The booking remains the same booking; TablePace changes its table allocation.
If you change your mind
Choose Cancel before confirming. The original allocation remains in place.
Live refresh while moving
Service Mode continues refreshing in the background, but TablePace preserves the table you have selected as the move target. You should not need to race the refresh timer to confirm a move.
A destination is not available
Check that the table:
- can seat the party;
- is not occupied by another overlapping booking;
- belongs to the active published floorplan;
- is not dependent on an unconfigured combination.
